President’s Message

Greetings! It is with great honor that I welcome you to the website of the GREATER Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

This archive of our chapter’s history serves as a museum of the various remarkable achievements our chapter has attributed to during our century of influence over the Chicagoland area.

Theta Chapter was chartered on Feb 21, 1910, at the University of Chicago, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Northwestern University by 6 exceptional men. Affectionately known as the 8th wonder of the world, Theta Chapter, alongside the help of the General Organization, marked the birthplace of our organization’s operation in the district of Illinois.

During my term, Theta chapter exudes the foundations laid by our late Jewels and Charter members over114 years ago. Through our hard work and dedication of the mission of our great fraternity, we continue to enrich our respective communities. Theta does and will forever embody what it means to be β€œServants of All”!

We look forward to seeing you at our programs and service events throughout the school year! Thank you for taking the time to visit our site and indulge in the illustrious legacy of our chapter! Feel free to reach out to us with any questions at alpha8wonder@gmail.com.

Fraternally,

Brother President Alexander Williams, Jr.
